55-minute sessions
$160
These sessions provide a focused and efficient way to explore your concerns, allowing time to discuss immediate issues, work on specific goals, and engage in therapeutic activities. While the shorter duration may not be sufficient for in-depth trauma processing, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) may be used to address other issues effectively. This approach ensures progress on various challenges within the convenient time frame of the session.
-
90-minute sessions
$225
Extended 90-minute sessions are ideal for delving deeper into complex issues and reprocessing traumatic memories with ART. The additional time provides a more comprehensive approach, allowing for a thorough exploration of your experiences, and a more reflective and effective therapeutic process. This extended format helps maximize the benefits of ART, facilitating significant progress in working through trauma and other concerns.
I have partnered with Mentaya to help you use your out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
Understanding Out-of-Network Benefits and Their Advantages:
· Out-of-network benefits allow you to submit claims for sessions with providers outside your insurance network, potentially receiving partial reimbursement for each session.
· Out-of-network benefits enable you to select from a wider range of therapists, ensuring you can find a provider with the right expertise, experience, and therapeutic approach that suits your needs.
· With out-of-network benefits, your therapy is less impacted by insurance limitations on session frequency or duration, allowing treatment to progress at a pace suited to your goals.
· Out-of-network claims often require less detailed session information, which can help maintain greater confidentiality in your treatment records.
· Out-of-network benefits make it easier to access therapists with specialized training or niche expertise not available within your network, so you can receive the best care for your specific concerns.

Paying for therapy
-
I offer multiple payment options for your convenience, including all major credit cards as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. These options are available to make accessing my services as seamless as possible.
-
As an out-of-network provider, I can provide superbills—detailed receipts that can be submitted to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
After each session, you’ll receive a superbill with all necessary information, making it easier for you to manage out-of-network claims and get the most from your insurance benefits. Please check with your provider for specific reimbursement policies.
-
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible to seek reimbursement by submitting claims directly to your insurance provider. To get started, contact your insurance company using the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about the process for submitting superbills, as this may differ from single-session claims.
Please note that state insurance plans, such as Medicaid (Medi-Cal), do not reimburse for out-of-network behavioral health services.
-
Since I am not in-network with any insurance companies, payment for therapy services is due at the time of each session. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement by submitting a claim using a superbill.
The claim process can take some time, and follow-up may be necessary if your insurance company requests additional information or denies the claim. For added convenience, I have partnered with Mentaya to help make this process easier. Please scroll up on this page to access the benefits checker.
